The second common one is a birth announcement, which is the opposite: one large photo, the name, the date, the weight. That is a hero or magazine layout with a lot of empty space.
Whichever format you choose, keep the treatment light. Heavy shadows, strong perspective and saturated filters fight with the subject, and a soft even grid ages far better as something you will still want on a wall in ten years.

How to make it
- Upload twelve photos in month order The grid fills left to right, top to bottom, so month one lands top-left.
- Apply the Baby template Celebrations tab, then Baby. Magazine layout on a soft blue gradient with white polaroid borders.
- Switch to an even grid for month-by-month If you want all twelve equal, use Rows × Cols in the Styles tab and set columns to 3.
- Label the months Add small text layers — "1", "2", "3" — under each photo. Keep them small; the photos are the content.
- Export A4 at 300 DPI if you are framing it.
Tips that actually change the result
- Baby photos are often shot on a bed or blanket with strong colour. Applying the same filter to every photo unifies the set more than adjusting each one.
- Faces should be roughly the same size across the twelve cells. Use Crop to zoom in on the early months where the baby is small in frame.
- Avoid heavy shadows and 3D effects here — soft and plain suits the subject.
